Short version: your labels never leave your computer. We only hold what we need to sell you Pro and let you sign in. No cookies, no ads, no tracking.

Your labels

LabelFixy reads, crops and rebuilds your label PDFs inside your web browser. The files, and everything on them (names, addresses, tracking numbers), are never uploaded, stored or sent to us or anyone else.

If you use Pro’s folder watch, LabelFixy looks in the folder you choose, on your computer, for new label PDFs. It only reads; it never changes or deletes your files, and nothing is uploaded.

Pro reads the text on each label to spot labels addressed to a shipping hub and to find the tracking number. That happens in your browser’s memory too, and is gone when you close the tab.

What we do collect

• When you buy Pro. Stripe runs the checkout. Stripe collects your email, payment details and billing address. We can see your email, what you bought, when, and whether it was refunded. We never see your full card number.
• When you sign in. You give us your email. We check it against Stripe and, if it has a Pro purchase, email you a 6-digit code through Microsoft 365. Codes aren’t stored; they’re worked out from your email and the time.
• To stop abuse. We keep short-lived records of sign-in attempts: a scrambled (hashed) form of your email and IP address, and the times. They’re deleted within about a day.
• Server logs. Like most websites, our server records requests: IP address, page, browser type and time. We use them only to keep the site running and secure, and keep them only as long as needed for that.

Stored in your browser

Your browser keeps a few small things in its local storage, on your device, not on our server:

• how many free labels you’ve made today;
• your Pro sign-in, which includes your email and lasts 30 days;
• your Pro settings, like whether the reference stamp and auto-print are on;
• if you use Pro’s folder watch: which folder to watch, and scrambled fingerprints of the files already added, so they aren’t added twice. File names aren’t kept.

Press Sign out, or clear this site’s data in your browser, to remove them.

Email from us

We send sign-in codes when you ask for them. We only send anything else, like news or offers, if you ticked the box to agree at checkout. Every one of those has an unsubscribe link.

Who we share it with

• Stripe, for payments (stripe.com/privacy).
• Microsoft, which sends our sign-in emails through Microsoft 365.
• Our web host, which runs the server.

We don’t sell your data, and we don’t share it with anyone else unless the law requires it.

Where it’s processed

We’re a US company, and Stripe and Microsoft may process data in the US and other countries. For data from the UK and EU they use legal safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

Our reasons (UK and EU)

• To sell you Pro and let you sign in: it’s needed for our contract with you.
• To keep the site secure and stop abuse: our legitimate interests.
• To send marketing emails: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
• To keep purchase records: the law requires it.

How long we keep it

• Purchase records: as long as tax and accounting law requires, usually up to 7 years. These live in Stripe.
• Sign-in attempt records: about a day.
• Server logs: a short period, then deleted.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, or stop marketing emails. Email hello@labelfixy.com and a human will reply. If you’re in the UK or EU you can also complain to your data protection authority; in the UK that’s the ICO.

Children

LabelFixy is for sellers, and isn’t meant for anyone under 16.

Changes

If we change this policy we’ll update the date at the top. If it’s a big change, we’ll say so on the site.
